Environmental responsibility has always been a priority for us. Ever since our ISO 14001 certification in 2011, we have continuously worked to minimize our negative impact on the environment.
For example, in 2018 we upgraded our air compressor, enabling us to shut down parts of the factory that are not in operation. In 2019, we switched to energy-efficient lighting, reducing energy consumption by 150,000 kWh annually. More recently, 178 solar panels have reduced our CO₂ emissions by 64 tonnes since August 2019.

It should be safe, secure, and rewarding to work with us—whether you are based in our office in Denmark or working at our factories in Poland.
That is why we continuously invest in good working conditions. For example, cranes, height-adjustable tables, and carts are available for our upholsterers, we use environmentally friendly adhesives, and our sewing departments are equipped with air conditioning.
All our employees in Poland also receive paid sick leave and can apply for support from a dedicated fund in case of financial hardship.

For us, quality is about more than creating furniture that lasts for many, many years. It must also be produced with respect for people and the environment. In many ways, environmental consideration has always been an integral part of our design philosophy - even before we became ISO 14001 certified in 2011.
Many of the principles now described as sustainable or environmentally friendly have long been, quite simply, common sense to us. High quality and long lifespan have always been at the core of our products.
That is why we place very high demands on our materials, ensuring they are highly durable and free from harmful chemicals - while increasingly incorporating environmentally friendly alternatives.
Because when we design new furniture, longevity is absolutely essential to us.
